About the Role

Evolution is seeking a social media manager and content developer to oversee the company's social media channels and paid social campaigns, as well as those of key clients and their campaigns. The Social Media Manager will also assist with pitches, and developing recommendations for social media strategy. The role will necessitate regular attendance at events in order to capture film and video content, and the candidate should be at ease interviewing staff or other stakeholders in order to generate relevant content.

A solid understanding of both B2B and lead generation tactics, as well as B2C marketing, is required to both support the company's own marketing and respond to a wide range of pitches and briefs. Additionally, since Evo has a lot of government clients and projects, familiarity with current events and regional affairs is crucial.

The role will also incorporate email marketing and management of website content as well as some internal comms (Company collaterals).

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and presentation skills. Canva or other design software experience, as well as basic video editing, would be advantageous. The ability to read and write formal Arabic would be very advantageous, but it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Campaign Management

  • Develop content strategies and monthly content calendar
  • Implement and manage paid social campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day posting and community management
  • Develop content ideas and coordinate with event and project teams to cover Evo events and projects
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders and departments to ensure project information, photography and any other visual assets are shared to social media in a timely fashion
  • Develop social copy
  • Develop and implement B2B lead generation initiatives

Pitch Development

  • Research and plan social media campaign recommendations for pitches and proposals – both paid and organic
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders and departments to ensure mock ups and other materials are developed for submissions
  • Advise on the latest social media techniques and tools

Collateral and other Content

  • Develop web and email copy
  • Develop content related to B2B marketing and lead generation
  • Support on the development of other company collaterals as required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role either in an agency or inhouse
  • Proven social media expertise
  • Experience in implementing and managing paid social campaigns, including targeting, retargeting and optimisation
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing
  • Fluent English
  • Strong writing and creative skills (English)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pitch development and PPT skills
  • Experience in creating compelling content on all digital platforms
  • An eye for good design and visuals
  • Ability to understand business requirements and effectively engage with colleagues across all departments
  • Solid understanding of content marketing
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Good time management skills
